Reassessment

[edit]

Came here via the request in the talk page template; changing this to List-class. Some ideas for improvement follow:

  • Changed this to list class because its really just a list of GDKs; the article doesn't discuss the concept of GDKs, talk about changes in them over time, or anything like that, it just lists them out and mentions what the features were for each one. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it does make it a List instead of a regular article.
  • There are tense issues with the article; you frequently flip between present and past tense. It should probably all be present tense when talking about the kits themselves; they still do have the features as stated, they didn't just vanish.
  • The text needs a copyedit ("The are several variations of the PlayStation development kit used for game creation.")
  • You shouldn't be linking articles in the section headers, but in the text.
  • It will likely be quite difficult, but there's not a lot of standardization between GDK sections- it's just a few random facts about the GDK, but no consistency in what information is presented in all sections.
  • There's a few citation errors in the references section
  • Some of the sources don't look reliable at first glance
